What can a careful examination of student work reveal about what is being taught and what is being learned?
Join us on Tuesday April 13th from 12-1:15pm for a collaborative exploration of the many facets of an assignment. This facilitated conversation, in collaboration with Daniel Bergman, will introduce the Empire State Partnership protocol as a tool for creating a network of colleagues to help you iterate your assignments by illuminating what your assignments really teach and the complex relationship between what you are teaching and what students are learning.
We will ask one participant to volunteer to share 2-3 works from a single assignment. No special preparation will be required.
