This is an aggregation of four “trefoil” knots. It is the simplest type of knot topology in a series. Its kind of an idea ive been thinking about for a while and haven’t been able to try until now. There has been a lot of work done on the topology of surfaces but I think that there is a lot skipped over in terms of knot and line topology. I like lines as spacial demarcations rather than surfaces because they allow for the extension and suggestion of space in more ambiguous ways. This aggregation could have been done in a way in which the ends of one wire bend would meet with the ends of its neighbor to allow topological continuity to create more complex structure greater than the individual unit.
