The Sustainable Environmental Systems program is seeking 2-3 Green Infrastructure fellows for this next semester. In 2013 the Institute was awarded a grant from the NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to design and build two GI projects on campus: The Canoneer Court and The North Hall Green Roof. Information regarding these projects can be found on our Green Infrastructure website.

So, this coming semester we will be continuing with the construction of the Cannoneer Court Parking Lot project and beginning the North Hall Green Roof. 

The fellows will be asked to:
  • Aid in the management and documentation of both projects through to completion
  • Assist with aerial imaging of both projects in the late Spring
  • Update the GI website with project progress
  • Assist in community outreach regarding GI
  • Assist in the development of a community GI technical assistance program for the PSPD
  • Assist in a joint research initiative with Pratt’s Communications Design program regarding public water conservation.
A strong command of the Adobe suite and autoCAD are necessary skills for this fellowship. The fellowships will require 15 hours per week.
