I wanted to use a Sparkfun Blynk Board for a remote temperature sensor.

I made a little shield. luckily the pin spacing matches a protoboard.

And I 3D printed a stacking case for the battery

I Added a DHT11 Temperature / Humidity sensor for starters.

I tried adding a meat thermometer probe. I calibrated it using ice water and boiling water..

That worked so well I used it with my smoker so I could see the meat temp from my cell phone…

I guess I have to go print another stack to hold the probe connector….
