PRATT/VACI FELLOWSHIP IN PEDAGOGY:

Pratt’s Department of Fine Arts and the Center for Teaching and Learning, in partnership with the Visual Arts at Chautauqua Institution (VACI) is excited to announce the inaugural 2019 Pratt/VACI Fellow in Pedagogy:  Connie Fu, an artist and Fine Arts MFA candidate at Pratt Institute.

This Fellowship is an opportunity for Connie to attend the Summer Residency Program at the Visual Arts at Chautauqua Institution. The residency will enable Connie to both advance her artistic practice within a community or peers and actively participate in practical and theoretical explorations around new pedagogies under the mentorship of Hasan Elahi (VACI Core Faculty, 2019).

Being at Pratt has helped me form many ideas about how to nurture trust, support, and listening within a creative community, and I’m excited to develop them during my time at VACI and beyond.” – Connie Fu, MFA Fine Arts ’19
