At Pratt Institute, we activate and accelerate research in many ways. Our newest research facility in the heart of Chelsea in Manhattan, NY, is now home to emerging research groups that are being mentored and supported. These researchers are exploring new paths for environmental sensing in cultural heritage contexts. They are partnering with rural communities to ignite creative economies. They are changing the way we understand equity issues in the Global South. While the research is diverse, what is the same about all of our groups is that their community-base research and activism is making real change, today.
